The following document contains the Executive Summary of the final report for The Gibson Building.

The following report contains a comprehensive redesign of The Gibson Building's structural system. An overview of the current structure is included in the beginning of the document which leads into the newly proposed system and analysis. The original system consist of cast-in-place concrete as the gravity system and concrete moment frames for lateral. The proposed redesign uses composite beams/girders and steel columns for the gravity system. The lateral system consist of concrete shear walls. Also included in this document are two breadth topics pertaining to a cost analysis and vibrations check.

Note that the following document excludes referenced building codes that may suggest location of structure in order to respect the request of the owner. However, cropped documentation is included.
